Please have your slides uploaded onto Voicethread and ready to go. Make sure you know what your login is and don't forget that you may not use your notes when you are recording. Use the slides to give yourself clues as to what you can say about your classes and the event that you have chosen.

Don't forget to bring earphones!

May 21-22, 2015

Period 3, 5 & 7 (assigned)

Your homework for the weekend is to complete and bring in Lesson 13 Reading Comprehension #3. There will be a reading comprehension next class so be prepared.

For next class, bring in your pictures of the remaining classes and teachers from the My Year in Japanese 2 and collect pictures from an activity that you attended this past school year. Try to get multiple pictures from the same event so that you have more to talk about. You will be given some class time to work on this so please make sure to bring it.

Last chance to retake the Lesson 13 Grammar/Vocabulary exam will be the day before Finals week. Make sure that if you are planning to take the exam, complete Quia Grammar Review B and come in for help to either ask questions or review the types of mistakes were made on the test.

If you have not completed your community project for the semester, the last possible event that you can attend is the Lantern Festival at Alamoana Beach Park on Memorial Day 5/25/15. Even if you have already completed the community project, it is still an event that is worthwhile to attend.

May 19-20, 2015

Period 3, 5 & 7 (assigned)

For next class (5/21-22) please make sure to bring in your dish. You need to make it on your own and portion it out into small, medium, and large sample portions to sell.

Practice the store terms available on Memrise. Make sure you know how to say these terms outloud. Think about what kind of "small-talk" that you can have with your customers. Review any grammar that you are struggling with.

Collect your pictures that you will need for the next installment of the My Year in Japanese Project. You should already have the pictures of your teachers and your classes. For each slide you should have multiple pictures that describe different aspects of your classes. The other portion will require pictures of any past activity that you attended over the school year.
